Transtel Engineering Pte Ltd., through its wholly owned subsidiary company in Papua New Guinea (PNG), confirms it has been awarded a contract by Esso Highlands Limited for the deployment of telecommunication infrastructure to support the PNG LNG Project.
The PNG LNG project is an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities, onshore and offshore pipelines and liquefaction facilities with the capacity of 6.6 million tonnes per year. Participating interests include affiliates of ExxonMobil (including Esso Highlands Limited as operator, 33.2 percent), Oil Search Limited (29.0 percent) Independent Public Business Corporation (PNG Government, 16.6 percent), Santos Limited (13.5 percent), Nippon Oil Exploration (4.7 percent), Mineral Resources Development Company (PNG landowners, 2.8 percent) and Petromin PNG Holdings Limited (0.2 percent). |

Transtel has successfully completed the final commissioning and site acceptance tests of the SPIFON project. The project was handed over to Petropars and POGC on June 20th, 2007.
This is a remarkable achievement to complete the project and the hand-over as planned and scheduled. The project will bring all the South Pars field projects phases under one integrated high speed fibre optic network runs at 2.5Gbps and capable of supporting data speed up 10 Gbps. The network links all the onshore gas processing facilities with the associated offshore gas production facilities in the Iranian side of the Persian Gulf.
The project was awarded to Transtel Engineering (Singapore) on turnkey EPC basis back in August 2005. The project works included the installation of over 300 Km of fibre optic submarine cable and the deployment of SDH/STM-16 high speed fibre optic network. The work scope also included the necessary modifications to the offshore platforms to make them suitable for the submarine cable installation. The work scope also included the marine survey, the onshore telecommunication facilities and the onshore fibre optic network infrastructure. |

Agbami FPSO is the largest offshore floating strucure to date and designed to produce 1 MIL barrel of Oil per day.
Transtel scope includes the complete detailed design for the telecommunication network that supports the FPSO critical operation. The scope of supply includes the onbaord navigation systems, radio communication systems, aviation systems, general alarm and announcement system, surrvielance system , VSAT system, satellite based entertainment system and data network systems.
The project is due for delivery to DSME by mid DEC2005. |

Transtel Engineering secures Dolphin offshore Project - Qatar
SINGAPORE (November 2004) - Transtel has been awarded the Dolphin offshore project by J.Ray McDermott in Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi. The project is a turnkey basis and calls for the detailed design, engineering, procurement, system integration, test and commissioning of the telecommunication system to be deployed for the two offshore platforms for the Dolphin Gas Project in Qatar.
Transtel had been awarded the gas plant telecommunication network in Septemper 2004.

Transtel Engineering secures Third Transmission Pipeline Project
SINGAPORE (November 12, 2004) - Transtel Engineering has been awarded recently the integrated telecommunication package for the Third Transmission Pipeline (TTP) project in Thailand by Nacap/Yakogawa.
Transtel scope is to provide the detailed design, engineering, supply, system integration, site installation and site commissioning for the integrated fiber optic backbone transmission network along the pipeline to support the control and the SCADA systems. The project is a turnkey including the installation of the 150 Km fiber optic cable along the pipeline.
This is the second major contract for Transtel in Thailand where it was awarded the TTM project last year from the same consortium. |

Transtel Engineering secures Salman Offshore Telecommunication Project
SINGAPORE (November 3, 2004) - Transtel Engineering has been awarded the telecomunication package for the Salman Offshore project in Iran by Iran Marine Industrial Company (Sadra) of Iran.
The project is a turnkey package in which Transtel shall provide the detailed design, engineering, procurement, system integration, and commissioning for the telecommunication package for the Salman Offshore complex in the persian gulf. The scope VSAT includes satellite communication system, UHF Radio network, Telephone and intercom system, data network and other internal communication systems to support the operation if the offshore complex.

Transtel Engineering secures Subiya Desalination Project
SINGAPORE (June 1, 2004) - Transtel Engineering is awarded a contract by the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait, to deploy a telecommunication network for its Subiya Desalination Plant in Kuwait.
Transtel will implement an integrated Wide Area Network (WAN) communication system linking the Local Area Network (LAN) at Multa High WDC, Dota, Subiya WDC, Subiya Desalination Plant and Shuwaikh NCC. A microwave high speed communication link will be provided between Subiya WDC and Shuwaikh NCC across the Kuwait Bay.
